Trim Down the Love Handles for a Six Pack Abs

As soon as summer grips up folks run frantically to get six pack abdominal muscles. Stronger, firmer abs are a delight to appear and feel. Here I will show you how you can develop them.

In this article I want to share 3 killer Workout for the love handles to create an awesome workout for you. Let's begin.

Workout #1: Side Crunch

You begin this Workout by lying in the same position as you would for a normal crunch. Then, cross the right foot with the opposite knee, leaving only the lest foot on the floor. Raise that foot into a 90 degree angle off the floor. Keep the left hand behind your hand and the right straight before you for balance.

Raise your upper body and curl it toward the right knee. Hold that position for a second and lower yourself down. This is one rep. Do as many as you like and then switch feet.

Workout #2 : Russian Twist

For the Russian Twist you will need a weight of some sort although you can also do this with just your body weight if you're a beginner. You sit on the floor with both legs in front of you. You can bend them a little if you like. You hold your upper body at a slight backward angle so you're using your abs to keep you from going all the way down to the floor.

You hold the weight in both hands in front of you in the air and begin moving it from side to side, twisting your torso with it so your hands are always in front of you. If you're doing this without any weight, just clasp your hands together. This will really strain your obliques, so enjoy.

Workout #3 : Hanging Side leg raises

This is a killer oblique Workout and probably the hardest of the three. You start off by hanging with both arms straight or by using ab straps. Then, you bend both legs and raise them diagonally toward your chest. You hold that position for a second and lower your legs before repeating the motion on the other side.

This workout can also be done on a Captain's Chair machine as well as simulated on the Ab Coaster machine along with other fitness equipment.

A lot of people spend a lot of time working on the abs but neglect the love handles. The obliques are the side muscles in your stomach which run at both sides of your central abs. You can't achieve that totally ripped, firm look without toning these muscles and the way to do that is to do focused love handles workouts.
