Legs Scissors Workout for Six Pack Abs

Here is another one of those lower ab exercises that focus on getting the best results for you:

1. Lie flat on the back and lift your feet a few inches above the ground.
2. Make sure that your lower back is firmly placed on the ground so that you do not injure it. You can place your hands under the lower back to ensure this.
3. Now tighten your core muscles, straighten your legs and lift your legs up and down.
4. Make sure that only your legs are doing the work and not your knees.
5. Now move both the legs in an opposite direction, as far as you can extend them.
6. Now bring them back together, never bending your knees and make them cross over.
7. Repeat this set 15-20 times.
8. You can increase the intensity by fixing ankle weights to your ankles.
9. Aim for keeping your legs as close to the floor as possible. This increases the difficulty and provides an intense workout. And is one of the best lower ab workouts for women as well.
